 Mougins
The old village of Mougins sits on a beautiful hill,
which is covered with flowers and bushes. Splendid views
of the surrounding Grasse countryside and of the sea
can be seen from the hillside; the best view is from
church bell tower. The village has many galleries and
boutiques to visit but still maintains its authenticity.
There is an interesting Photography
Museum, which can be found behind the church and beside
the Saracen Gate in a building which was once part of
the town's ramparts. In the museum, you'll find a wonderful
collection of old cameras and photographs of Picasso
and his family, who used to visit the town, from as
early as 1935. In other rooms there are temporary exhibitions
displaying the work of current photographers.
