This fashionable resort town lies on the sea. Nestled
against the hills, it's protected from the north winds
making it one of the warmest spots on the Riviera. The
Baie des Fourmis is home to a cozy harbour and 2 small
pebble beaches.
A wonderful sight to visit is Villa
Grecque Kerylos. This reconstruction of a luxurious
Greek villa of ancient times stands in a pleasant garden
above the sea looking over the Baie Des Fourmis, Cop
Ferrat, Eze and Cap d'Ail.
There are two scenic walks starting
in Beaulieu sur Mer. The first, Setier du Plateau St.
Michel, takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete and
climbs steeply up to a plateau offering wonderful views
over the sea and coast. The second, Promenade Maurice
Rouvier , takes 1 hour and runs along the shore to St.
Jean Cap-Ferrat.
